NCLEX Struggle

Hi, so I was wondering what the most times you’ve seen someone take the NCLEX. I have taken it 4x and have not passed yet. I’ve done nsring, Kaplan and UWorld. It just feels very depressing right now....any and all comments welcome...

I recommend Hurst review. They were the reason why I passed. They explain the physiology of everything with videos. Maybe it will work for you

I'm in CA so the number of times are unlimited. I am not sure for the other states. You can do a search on here titled "This is my xx amount of time taking it and I finally passed" So it is possible to pass with xx numbers of times. what is it that you are having trouble with?

The most common reasons are usually not having a strong grasps of exam-testing skills, nursing test taking skills ( ie. ABC, Nursing Process, Safety), lack of knowledge with physiology/pathophysiology, or how to breakdown nursing type questions using keywords and bloom taxonomy.

If I was in your shoes, I would self evaluate my past results before buying another prep course. That way you will know what you need to do differently. You can do this! *heart*

I took the NCLEX 3 times and passed the 3rd time with 76 questions in 1 1/2 hours. You can do it. I have taken Hurst, Kaplan, UWorld and a few other review courses. In my area, there were raving reviews about this class held by this Doctor. It was pricey but worth every penny. He has over 90% pass rate. He broke things down into a completely different perspective. He encouraged us to keep our UWorld membership and go through it alongside taking his class. I answered 10-20 questions a night every night, and was successful. I hope this information helps! If you are in Los Angeles, CA area, I'll be happy to pass on this NCLEX review info to you! Best of luck! You can do it!

KSK TRAINING IN GARDENA, CA. Dr. KHAN. He offers a prep course. It's pricey but a lot of prep courses in person are pricey. I just finished with him. I am not using UWorld this 3rd time. It would just be me memorizing answers since they repeat the same questions. I chose to use the book that came with Dr.Khan's class as my reference point and used another question bank. I'm using Kaplan question bank and a book by Donna Gauwitz "Practice Questions". If the rationales are not good enough. Then I refer to the book and notes from Dr.Khan's lectures.

I used Dr. Khan & UWorld! Worth every penny!

I spoke to Dr. Khan about not using UWorld. I took NCLEX twice using UWorld. Using it a 3rd time was just going to be me memorizing the answers. Failing twice frazzled me. I preferred in person but because of Covid he switched to online. I lost wifi connection a lot of lectures and missed out. I could not afford to extend so I have no choice but to just go off of the book that was provided with his course.

MsRn2020 she used KSK TRAINING. Read my previous post where she quotes my comment.

KSK training requires payment. There is no sharing lectures because they are not recorded. I said I couldn't afford it either but I hustled to get the money to pay for it. If you want it that bad you'll find payment.
