Is it true that nclex rn exams from 2016 will have practical exams too?

NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN are too separate exams.

There are two computer based NCLEX exam NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-pn. Clinical competency is tested and assessed in nursing school. By graduating from an approved nursing program it is implied that you have demonstrated practical clinical competency at the level of a nurse entering practice.
There is nothing to indicate that there will be a clinical practicum portion to the NCLEX in 2016 or any year in the near future.

WHAT????????
Thanks.. heard from a few people that ncsbn will be starting practical exams along with theory for the nclex rn starting April 2016😰.. I did not see such an info in nclex bulletin, so wanted to clarify it here.. thanks a lot...☺😊
Extremely impractical and unrealistic. Pure rumor. Especially since there are variations in scope of practice and skills permitted between different states (more so for LPN's but also for RN's in some areas of the country. More rural often, more skills permitted, more autonomy, etc.) Plus now the NCLEX-RN is utilized both in the US & Canada. Because of language laws, the NCLEX-RN is also available in French in Canada since French is an official language of Ontario and Quebec. How on earth would clinical practicum work in two different countries? The concept is logic defying.

I think that the OP is asking if they are going to include a sort of simulation lab scenario or a practical exam much like we had in anatomy lab, I don't think she means practical as in the "p" in "pn".
I don't see how they can do that without moving away from CAT and they spent too long building and perfecting it (not that its perfect) to do that in my opinion.
