Nclex results?

Hello. I am getting ready to take my boards in a couple of days. One of my concerns is obviously failing. A few people from my class have already taken the exam and their results were posted on the Ohio Board of Nursing website by the next day stating that they were now licensed rather than pending. Does anyone know what happens if someone fails? Will it remain pending, show up as closed or does it actually say failed? I am concerned because I know there are some people from class who are monitoring the list as we all take the test and I do not really want everyone to know if I have failed. Does anyone have some insight?

Whow that must be nerve racking think positive that your name will show up as pass. I don't have any info on that state however best of luck:mad::mad::mad:

:twocents: It is my understanding that your name will not be posted if you don't pass, but I could be wrong. Don't worry yourself about failing because you are going to pass. Have faith and stay positive!

hi! im from the philipppines and i took the nclex rn california exam last oct.2,2008. its been more than 4 weeks and i still havent received my results. any idea on how i can get my results? i already tried calling the california board of nursing and they told me to wait.i need help!please any information will do.thanks!:(:(:(

Results take anything from 4-6 weeks as a lot will depend on where abouts you live. The BRN can tell you when it was posted but a lot will depend on local mail deliveries especially if out of the USA

yipee!! I got my results already..i made it!! :yeah: after waiting for soooo long..i finally got it.. (had to look for it at the post office though) but still...yipeeeeeeeee!!

Your name will not be on their website if you do not pass the exam so you do not need to worry about that. Once a result is given to the BON, then it is no longer pending. And only those that pass are actually issued a license.

The only way for you to get your results is by snail mail, there is no other way for CA; especially since you are not getting a license number issued to you since you do not hold a SSN#.

Thanks so much!!I got my results already and I made it...the long wait is finally over and was surely worth it..:D

There is no way for you to obtain the SSN# until you are in the US and with a visa that will permit you to work.

Suggest that you have a good read on the International Forum about what you will need to do since the passing letter that you have received is only valid for three years and it is expected to be more than five years before you will have a chance at a visa for the US.

anyone knows how many day it takes for ca board to put ur name on website if u pass? i know ca snail mail takes weeks. it was my 2nd time last time failed with 265. took it this morning shut down @ 75.
