NCLEX PN in 1 week

Hi I am getting ready to graduate in june of this year and I feel you on that! Im trying to find out what is the best book to study from. I have very bad test anxiety and I need a book that explains things well and give the rationales for why the answer is correct and incorrect.

I took my nclex pn on March 24. I too studied pharm and lab values.....I got one Pharm question and nothing whatsoever on lab values....It just all depends on what you get....Don't stress too much....I bought and spent money on review books and what i really should of went over was the Herlihy book I used while i was in school. I had alot of priority questions, no math and alot on cushings syndrome. Again you may not have any of these so just relax and take you time with the test...I will pray for you....Please pray for me to as I am still waiting on my results it has already been 5 weeks. I am in calif....

Merricks-study materials i used was the lacharity prioritization delegation and assignment which is a book for RN but it is a wonderful book! Questions make you really use critical thinking! Also, i purchased the learning extension in feb and it helped me alot cause it is similar to the real thing. Also, i made notes on a little notebook that i carry around with me.

RioshopfullVN- do you suggest i just practice answering questions for the last week or content? I dont want to reschedule cause i just never know what happens! Good luck on the results. Ive heard it usually takes 7 weeks now since they have furloughs on fridays now. Let me know when you have received the results! I am praying for you!

I think that sounds like a really good idea. Just don't stress out too much, i know it's hard try to relax.....I am sure you will do fine....Let me know how it goes and i will let you know as soon as I get my results. Wed will be the 5th week, so i am sure i have a few more to go.....Untill then good luck and I will keep you in my prayers!!!

Well Guys, according to the PVT trick, I FAILED for the 3rd time!!!! this time i went all the way through to 205..yikes!!! but unfortunately i didnt pass! NCLEX would have to be put on hold for now, until i can get back on my feet and my mind is clear......until then if anyone has any other suggestions on how to study AGAIN please please let me know!! im open for opinions!!!! Very frustrating, depressing, and aggrivating! Studied so hard but yet failed!

Sorry to hear about that. You know after I took my test I realized after I spent so much money on study guides I should have studied the book they gave me while I was in school. I am not sure if you have it or have used it it is called The Human Body in Health and Illness by Herlihy. After I took my test I started going through it and realized this was the only book I would have needed. Let me know if you have it....If not I would be nore than happy to send it to you. I just got my results on Wed and I passed nclex.....I am glad it is over, the wait was horrible!!!! Keep pressing on, Dont give up!!!!:)
