NCLEX-PN study guide question

My mom wants to buy me a study guide for the NCLEX-PN for my birthday. She has asked me which one I would like but I am not sure. My question is if you used a study guide (or more than one) which one would you recommend. I'm a little nervous as a lot of the students who just graduated from my school in December and have just taken the test have came back and told us that there is no way to prepare for the test, that it is unlike any test we have ever taken.:uhoh3: That being said, do you feel your study guide helped you? Thanks in advance.

Saunder's Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-PN.

And Happy Birthday.

Saunder's Comprehensive Review 3rd edition. Very good book!

In addition try Kaplan QBank.

You should go to a bookstore and look through some of the many review books available to see which one you like the best. You will probably choose the Saunders book. You can use this one to do Suzanne's plan to study. Good luck and happy birthday!

if u are going to take the nclex-pn, is it okay to use the nclex-rn saunders 3rd ed comprehensive book as a study guide?

PN have different roles to RN so better to use resources aimed at the test you want to take. Probably better to get the Saunders PN book

Ditto on the above posts. I have been using the Saunders RN since June 07. I had to shift gears to get ready for the PN exam. I am using the Saunders PN-3rd ed. I will take my exam on 2/17. After that, I will switch back to getting ready for the NCLEX-RN. The Saunders has been quite helpful to me in nursing school. I usually incorporate it into my reading. I use the interventions and questions to get ready for exams. So far so good. Also, I would rather understand concepts. I have a photographic memory, but I get bored unless I understand the whole picture. Saunders really helps with developing concepts and core knowledge.

saunders is great, i also liked exam cram.

use saunders

i USED SAUNDERS
