NCLEX help...where to start

Hi guys. I've started studying for my nclex and have many resources so I'm kind of feeling overwhelmed and confused about what to do. I did Kaplan course and I didn't really care for it so I'm not even using their content, only the questions. Right now I'm just using Saunders (yellow book) and going by sections. But I was thinking about buying the 3 weeks course from the NCBSN but have seen mixed reviews about it. It's $50 so it's doable for me. I also have Hurst videos, cram, and PDA by LaCharity (I haven't opened it yet). Any suggestions of what worked or didn't work for you would be great.

I haven't scheduled my test because I'm still waiting for my ATT

Thank You

I used Hurst for content plus their 750 questions, Saunders (6th ed purple book) for the bulk of my practice questions and the entire PDA book. I test in 2 days so I'm hoping it's sufficient! I'll let you know!

Wow that's almost exactly what I'm doing. I love the Saunders (I'm sure the info is not that much different from the newer edition) and the information is sticking. I do find the questions that come with the book too easy so Kaplan comes in handy. Please let me know how it goes and best of luck to you!!!!!! :)

Thanks! I'll post once I get the good news!

Kaplan all the way! Ive tried it all before Kaplan and failed. Once I studied their content vids, I passed w flying colors :)

I just find their content videos so boring and can't sit through them. I am watching Hurst (did you try this one before?) And I love it and will finish soon. I'm still using Kaplan questions and will do only the pharm video from there. Thanks

LoveSBK, I tried Hurst and Saunders the 1st time around and failed. Kaplan is what helped me pass. But I also was lacking in content when I graduated, so while boring, it has a lot of information that is great for the nclex and nursing in general. I learned a lot just with the vids.

Did you feel like the Hurst videos weren't detailed enough? I was also reading Saunders but it's too long and detailed. I loved the Saunders though. I don't know if I have time to watch the content videos for Kaplan anymore. I do have the eBook for it
