  1. Try calling them. Ive been on their butts since I applied. This is my last week to have it all done. They claim theyre still waiting on my cbc in order to even issue me a temp:(
  2. Hi Kenzie, Thanks for your response! Yes, I decided to go with Washington Hospital Center. What unit do you work in, if you dont mind me asking?
  3. I applied this week and need it by the end of this month. Im so nervous abt this!
  4. I would like to know what are the good and bad abt each of these facilities regarding: Staff and support Training Salary Benefits Etc. If youve had experience at both, which would you recommend?? TIA
  5. LoveSBK, I tried Hurst and Saunders the 1st time around and failed. Kaplan is what helped me pass. But I also was lacking in content when I graduated, so while boring, it has a lot of information that is great for the nclex and nursing in general. I learned a lot just with the vids.
  6. Kaplan all the way! Ive tried it all before Kaplan and failed. Once I studied their content vids, I passed w flying colors :)
  7. Hey Chineye, I honestly would say that Kaplan is thr best review program in my experience. Their video content was really all I needed to pass. I took a week to watch the vids and make flashcards and studied from there. Took me 1-2 months to prepare for NCLEX using solely kaplan. Passed w 75Qs. My scores ranged from 60-69%
  8. Whats the starting salary for new grads?
  9. LoveSBK, would you happen to know if MedStar requires a 2-yr or 1-yr contact to the unit? Also, whats the salary for new grads?
  10. Thanks! I graduated out of state (out of US, actually).
  11. Elieth, I also see you got offered ICU position. Congrats! Would it be possible to know where (if theyre still taking applicants)? Im very interested in working on this unit but everywhere I apply specifically says "not new grad position". Please help me. Ive tried Holy Cross, Sibley, Suburban, Childrens, etc. Thanks a bunch!!
  12. Thank you elieth! Would you say the clinical questions were tricky or just required basic nursing knowledge?
