Hey everyone! This is my first post on here and I would love your feedback. I am down to 5 more days before I take the Nclex. I've been practicing questions and studying for about a 1 1/2 months. I did the following;
Davis book (all of it): about 2000 questions
Saunders: 1000+ questions
Kaplan Book: 200ish questions
Kaplan CD Test: first try: 64
second try: 76 (without checking my answers from the first time and practicing more)
Kaplan Q-Trainer
test1: 64, test 2:74 test 3:69
Also have been studying common meds and labs. I should be done with all of kaplan q-trainer by the weekend...do you think i am ready...i feel so weak with meds and ob:(

You can never feel ready for the actual exam. But based on what you did, I think you are most ready. You can do this!! Just keep on practicing answering questions, review all rationales and pray pray pray. Also, you can do some more content review w/ those topics you felt you're weak. NCLEX is a very unique exam to each test-taker, you can never know what questions it'll give you, so better be prepared to answer any type of questions as much as possible. Good luck and God bless you.

I agree, you will never feel totally ready. I used Kaplan and those are good scores. My weak area was meds too, I did get a lot of med questions but really only 1 that I had never heard of before. Try and do some OB review before your exam. Good luck!

go i think your ready... pray a lot.. Wish u goodluck
Thank you guys for the motivation and advice. I will continue to do questions till a day before to keep the momentum going. And try to do some review...will let you know how it turns out next week.
So i finished Kaplan Question Trainer #4 yesterday and got a 69%. I started QTrainer #5 today and was feeling drained. I got these questions after doing all of my prep from other resources. So the kaplan trainers were just to keep me practicing for the last week prior to my NCLEX. But I seriously think I am overworking myself at this point. I have 3 more days and i don't think I will be able to learn anything new. The anxiety is starting to set in!!! But I think instead of doing the remaining 150, 200, and 265 question set. I will do 50-75 from each set...so I don't get fried before the test. What do you guys think?
I would focus on QT 6 & 7, those are the harder level (passing level) questions. But you're right, don't burn yourself out! Good luck!

good luck!!! you will be fine. thats a lot of questions!
I took the nclex this morning. You guys were right, i really did a lot of questions! But i hope it was all worth it. I didn't do much the last 2 days before the test, I felt like I had drained all of my resources. So I just took it easy. Couldn't sleep the night before and had a crazy adrenaline rush before the exam. So anyways, the computer stopped at 75 questions. I was out in about 1 hour and 15 mins. Tried the PVT and got the good pop up. I will definitely pay for the quick results in two days and keep you guys posted:)
