Hey Guys,

So I am posting to get some encouragement and opinion on my grades! I have been doing Kaplan and Uworld both for about 4 weeks now! I take the NCLEX this Wednesday, the 5th!!

Here are my kaplan grades:

Diagnostics: 55.2%

QT 1: 46.7%

QT2: 57.3%

QT3: 45%

QT4: 46%

QT5: 47.3%

QT6: 48.5%

QT7: taking it today

Qbanks: anywhere between 40-55% (mostly between 48-53%)

Readiness Test: 62.2%

I remediate, I take notes, I keep practicing and I do feel like I have gotten better but I keep getting 40s and havent got any 60s!! The readiness score made me a little hopefull but I feel like I am gonna fail!!! I take the boards in 2 days!!! please please please help me! tell me how bad my grades are and what are my chances. please help :(

My UWorld diagnostic test said that my chances of passing the NCLEX would be "borderline" and I averaged 50-60% on any given UWorld question test. I did pretty well in my nursing program and tried my best to understand all of the rationales. I went into the actual NCLEX fully relaxed, accepting that I have done everything I could and passed it in 75 questions.

If you can honestly say that you have been doing y our best to understand all of the rationales, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the NCLEX. Do not lose heart :)

OMG! thank you! this is very encouraging! I took the sample tests for Uworld yesterday. The first one I got 55% and said High chances of passing! the second one 45% and said borderline (I am not making excuses but I did take it at night and i was exhausted by that time!!)

Thank you for sharing your experience with me!!

Omg HI!!! I'm in the same exact position as you! I can't seem to get above 50% on my question trainers and practice exams and I am so scared. But I heard that the actual exam has easier questions than the practice ones though Kaplan. I am sure you will do fine though! Like how my psych teacher told me, try your best not to stress too much because people not passing is due to the amount of stress they felt, NOT because they don't know the material. I heard that it is recommended to not do as much studying the day/night before your exam. I wish you the absolute best of luck!!!!! Please let me know how it went for you, especially since we're kinda on the same boat haha :)

I'm done! I just came home! I got 75 questions lots of SATA questions. A few priority ones! I think the test was very very similar to Kaplan! I also feel like I didn't even know 1 answer!! í ½í¹í ¼í¿¼â˜¹ï¸

Ooh I heard that getting a lot of SATA questions is a good sign because they're considered to be on the difficult level! which is why I hope I get a lot of SATA questions lol! I hope you take the rest of today to completely relax! :D

No that is a common misconception, getting a lot of SATA questions does not guarantee anything. There are SATA questions that are also at below the line so the SATA's do not mean they are necessarily at a difficult level.

aw man...i just thought what i heard about sata questions was true because those really are hard questions! thanks for letting me know!

Update... I PASSED :)

Update... I PASSED :)

AHHHHHHH OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! how exciting! :D

Thank you! When are you taking your exam? Good luck! You can do it

I'm taking my exam on the 17th...I'm so nervous because I keep scoring in the 40 percentile and everyone keeps saying that I should aim for 60% but now I'm super hopeful so thank you!!!! lol i'm going to keep practicing questions until my test day and so I was wondering how much review did you do on the day before your exam? and were the questions easier than the practice ones from kaplan?
