  1. Congrats new RN!! Isn't it the best feeling ?
  2. @nursewifeymomma Honestly I think Kaplan is the best! Uworld did help me with some pathophys and review but Kaplan is super hard and their remediations truly help you get ready for the test!!
  3. People kept telling me that numbers don't matter and keep practicing but I was skeptical!!! However, it worked!! I really do believe Kaplan gets you ready! Just remediate and focus on questions and you'll be good! Good luck. Let me know how it goes
  4. No problem! Good luck! :)
  5. Yes I mean they do!! They are general questions from everything! I had a lot of peds and babies which is my weakest point! Hahaa So reading the Kaplan rationales just helps you learn the reasoning and think through NCLEX questions! Let me know how it goes! You got this
  6. 24nurse - MNEMONICS & NCLEX STUDY GUIDE Here is that study guide
  7. 24nurse - MNEMONICS & NCLEX STUDY GUIDE And this is that review! I found it very helpful
  8. I just added another post here you should check that out! Do NOT pay attention to your grades, as you saw for mine, they mean nothing! A friend of mine sent me a review that was like30 pages I went over that the day before the test and that was it!!! Just relax that day! Hmm honestly they're different! But very similar. I wouldn't say easier but I would definitely say that Kaplan rationales help you think through those questions!! Just keep reviewing and you'll be fine
  9. Yes!! I would do at least 75 questions a day! And would remediate and take notes!!
  10. Thank you! When are you taking your exam? Good luck! You can do it
  11. Hi nurses and future nurses, i just wanted to share my story! i finished nursing school this May, 2017! I was a good student but also did struggle in a couple of classes. My school uses Kaplan and I was HORRIBLE at it! When I was studying for my test literally EVERYONE would tell me they get 50-60s on their practice Kaplan! Well that didn't happen to me! I had 40s-55 with lots of 40s! Here is a rundown of my grades: Diagnostics: 55.2% QT 1: 46.7% QT2: 57.3% QT3: 45% QT4: 46% QT5: 47.3% QT6: 48.5% QT7: 49% Qbanks: anywhere between 40-55% (mostly between 48-53%) Readiness Test: 62.2% I also used Uworld which helped me with content a little! But definitely recommend Kaplan! I went to take my test, my heart was pounding the whole time! I did my best and took my time! It shut off at 75! I was sure I failed! I felt nauseous and felt like didn't even know one question! 24 hours after I got my license number... I PASSED!!! So don't let these stupid grades let you down! Do your absolute best, study, practice practice practice and you will make it! I Promise good luck everyone ❤️
  12. Update... I PASSED :)
  13. I'm done! I just came home! I got 75 questions lots of SATA questions. A few priority ones! I think the test was very very similar to Kaplan! I also feel like I didn't even know 1 answer!! í ½í¹í ¼í¿¼â˜¹ï¸
  14. OMG! thank you! this is very encouraging! I took the sample tests for Uworld yesterday. The first one I got 55% and said High chances of passing! the second one 45% and said borderline (I am not making excuses but I did take it at night and i was exhausted by that time!!) Thank you for sharing your experience with me!!
