NCLEX application for NY

Hi!

Just want to ask your help regarding NY application form. In # 22 it states something about Child abuse training. What am I going to do? I don't have that but i think i have to answer all the questions for it to be valid. PLease help me!!!

You need to actually complete an approved course for NY to give you a license. They are no longer issuing a license until you complete the required course.

It is required that it be thru an approved course.

It can be done on-line and cost is about $15. There is a link directly on their website, and if you do a search on this forum, you can find a list as well.

I am also from NY and I thought that I didnt have it either. After contacting my DON from my nursing program I was informed that it is included in the nursing program, yours may be as well.

The Child Abuse Training can be taken online. I checked the NY BON's website for the facilities that give the course online and took it.
