NCLEX application. HELP

Published

hi

I just graduated as a BSN in the Philippines this year. I am currently residing here in the US as a tourist visa. My mom has petitioned me for an immigrant just recently that's why I cannot go back to the Phil. to take the local board exam. Now my plan is to apply for NCLEX. Can anyone please help me which BON state accept applicants who did not take the local board, CGFNS and have no SSN yet and the one who releases the quickest ATT. I badly need your help. :o

thank you

Even though your mother has petitioned you for a visa you are looking at years to be processed and will definately go against you if you become out of status. There are a few BONS where you do not need to take local boards but just because your mum has petitioned you does not mean you will be able to work. It will take you several months applying for licensure and before you will get ATT to sit NCLEX. Also with retrogression there is nothing except I140 that can be filed as no visas and you can not do AOS. The best thing you can do is go home and do the consular process. You are making a lot of problems trying to do AOS. Would suggest doing plenty of reading on this forum

:welcome:

If your mother just petitioned you, you have years of waiting to get the green card. This tourist visa will not permit you to remain in the US past its expiration date.
