Mt. Sac Nursing Program 2015

Hello everyone, so I just received an E-mail from MT sac and I was selected as a Candidate and now I have to set up an appointment with a Nursing counselor to confirm all my information including transcripts etc.

Here is the email in quotes

"Dear Applicant,

You have been selected as a candidate for the Nursing Program at Mt. San

Antonio College. You now need to make a Counseling Appointment in our

counseling center. The counseling center is in the student services

building (9B on the map) and they are located on the second floor. To make

your appointment you will call the counseling center at (909)274-4380. It

is very important that you identify yourself as a student candidate for the

nursing program. The appointments will begin on March 31, 2015 and end on

April 30, 2015. Your appointment will be with one of the following

counselors or educational advisors:

This is a verification appointment and you need to have official copies of

all of your transcripts with you when you come to your appointment. If you

have earned credits at Mt. SAC we do not need an official copy of this

transcript. You must also show proof of high school graduation or the

equivalent. If you have previously earned a degree (associate's or

bachelor's), and the degree is posted to your transcript, you will not need

to show proof of high school graduation. You will also need to show proof

of eligibility to enroll in MATH 71 Intermediate Algebra. Completion of a

higher-level math course will also meet this requirement. If you have

specific questions before your appointment you may contact the nursing

educational advisor, Kathleen Clarke, at [email protected].

If your transcripts are verified, you will be notified if you will be

accepted to the Fall 2015 semester.

Sincerely,

Mt. San Antonio Nursing Program"

now my question is has anyone else received this letter? Does this mean IM pretty much in the Nursing program???? Im so anxious .anyone else?

Thank you,

-Steve

I still haven't received anything and I've been checking like crazy hahahaha.... JsPassion would you mind PM your price. Thanks =)

Mjchavez it is, I had a variance in a chld 10 class so I had to go right into Fall semester, I'm just getting ready for my nclex 😩 all my friends except 3 have been hired so not that brutal!

Yikes. Yeah I work in the surgery department and all the RNs are saying it's so hard to get a job anywhere. I got accepted to OT school and RN school so I'm trying to get input on making the best decision.

Email received! 👍 officially accepted!

Just got my confirmation e-mail.

officially accepted! I look forward to meeting all of you on orientation :D

I'm in too!! Woohoo!!!! I can't wait to meet you all during orientation.

Same here. Congrats :)

I'm an alternate. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get in. I'll be at orientation. Congrats to you all!

Hey L84martinez,

I would be optimistic if I were you. During the Advance Placement orientation a couple of students did not show up so all the alternates ended up getting a spot into Nsg70.
