Good evening. My name is Nicole. I am apply to the Spring 2020 ADN program at Mt San Antonio College. Just wanting to connect with potential applicants. Would love to hear how your application process is going, how it went, how many points you're applying with, etc. I am apply with 76 points. Not too good but crossing my fingers.

Got my email too! Does anyone know if alternates also got the same email?

@shainbrightThere aren't any alternatives yet; everyone at the moment is a candidate. Of these candidates, alternatives will be chosen. It depends on your points. How many did you apply with?

@Quiche Ohhh okay thank you. I applied with 81.5 points, hoping this will be enough?

I know its still early but does anyone know generally how long orientation is? I’ll be applying for fall 2020 but I was just curious and I can’t find it anywhere

Did anyone see the counselor yet? Mind share what's the process like, did they tell you where the cut off points was?

I went to my counseling appointment already. They just verify you have the necessary general education classes to be in the program and make sure that the points you submitted for section 7c of the application (school transcript points such as your gpa, and make sure you uploaded all transcripts for the different colleges you’ve attended) are correct. They also verify the transcript regarding foreign language but if you provided a letter, then the nursing department verifies it. Overall my appointment was very quick.

My counselor was not able to give me a range of what the cutoff points were but did say that 80 student will be contacted in November to be in the program or an alternate. Also only the top 100 students were invited to make a counseling appointment.

Thanks for the info ? I scheduled my appointment in October because I was visiting family but now I’m thinking about it and I hope it’s not a first-come-first-serve kind of situation and I get pushed back to being an alternate ? I only have 77 points
