Mt Sac ADN program Spring 2020

Good evening. My name is Nicole. I am apply to the Spring 2020 ADN program at Mt San Antonio College. Just wanting to connect with potential applicants. Would love to hear how your application process is going, how it went, how many points you're applying with, etc. I am apply with 76 points. Not too good but crossing my fingers.

@Sciencestudent91 no, i don't think it works like that. It is all on the amount of points people have.

I went to my counseling appointment already. They just verify you have the necessary general education classes to be in the program and make sure that the points you submitted for section 7c of the application (school transcript points such as your gpa, and make sure you uploaded all transcripts for the different colleges you’ve attended) are correct. They also verify the transcript regarding foreign language but if you provided a letter, then the nursing department verifies it. Overall my appointment was very quick.

My counselor was not able to give me a range of what the cutoff points were but did say that 80 student will be contacted in November to be in the program or an alternate. Also only the top 100 students were invited to make a counseling appointment.

Hi,

I just saw the counselor today. I was actually told a little different numbers.... I was told that 90 students were selected to the counseling appointment. 60 students will be selected into the program, and 30 will be the alternate..

Orientation will be most likely 3 days in Dec. (about 8am to 4pm)

My point was adjusted by 2 points up. I have international college BA. Many schools don't count the BA degree from different countries for nursing program, but Mt. Sac will count as far as it is evaluated, they said. If anyone has international college degree...

Thanks for sharing, how many points do you have in total now?

I went to counseling appointment yesterday as well, however, was told the same as previous post, 60 admitted with 20 alternate, and that the orientation will be week long from 8 to 5 something like that. The official notice will send out in mid November. Either way, I hope we all get in ☺️

Cool thanks for sharing! What points did they officially say you had?

I asked but was told they're not allow to tell how many points, but they verified all my doc are correct, so I can basically calculate myself from there, I think I had 83 points

Thanks for sharing your counseling appointment experiences!

Hey guys, had my counseling appointment this past week, the counselor said this time around the points were higher than usual, and said 77 was a common score students had.

Im wondering what score you guys had after your counseling appointment? I have 77.

my counselor said this has been the most competitive semester yet. I have 82 points still.

That’s a great score! Are you applying with a BA?
