MSMC ABSN Fall 2013 Program

Hi!!

Just wanted to see if there were any other people on here that applied for the Mount St. Mary's ABSN Fall 2013 program? I just turned in my application yesterday and crossing my fingers that I get in.

From reading other threads about this program, I hear it's pretty competitive.

Hope to hear from some other people soon who also applied so we can all wait this out together! :)

    Hey twinejoyy I know in the last cohort I think some people got in without an interview but I think they had all their classes complete, I would contact them and ask to make sure

    Does anyone know when their sending out letters?

    I had my interview on June 4th and they mentioned that we would receive notification within about 2 weeks. So I assume this week is out of the question, but we will hear back next week! Goodluck everyone!

    Hey Everyone! So I called yesterday and spoke to someone and they told me that they could not tell me exactly why I didn't get an interview but pretty much if I do get rejected from this cohort it is probably because I had Microbiology in progress last semester. They weigh your score pretty heavily on the 4 core science classes. She said that if I do get rejected from this cohort, I can call next week and speak to an academic advisor and they will be able to tell me why I didn't get in because EVERYONE who applies gets notes from the review committee as to why or why not they were accepted.

    So, with that being said, good luck to everyone that interviewed! The person I spoke to yesterday said the applicant pool for this cohort was extremely competitive meaning you all are smart!

    As for acceptance letters, she said that they will be going out at the end of this week for sure!
