MSMC ABSN Fall 2013 Program

I applied for the ABSN Fall 2013 as well. Anxiously waiting

I applied as well! I too have been anxiously waiting- I check my email/portal more than I probably should lol! On the Fall 2012 forum on this site, people weren't starting hear until mid-to-late May, so I'm trying not to freak out too much

@SDSUgrad2012 I emailed the admission office and they responded:

Admissions decision letters will be mailed anywhere from 4-8 weeks from the ABSN deadline.

....Looks like we wont be hearing back from then until mid May.

I applied too. Now comes the longest couple of months.....

They say 4 - 8 weeks, but in the information session they said it wouldn't be sending out the decisions until early June. Interviews are conducted in late May.

Hi again everyone!

Are we all still waiting to hear back about interviews? One of my friends who I did prereq classes with at the community college applied for the ABSN summer cohort and is starting at the Mount tomorrow for her first day!

She said that her application was Nov 1, so including the month of November, she received the interview invite 3 months later during the first week of February. She interviewed the following week, and got accepted February 20th. Her status changed to "accepted" on the MSMC portal. She also said they don't send out an e-mail to let you know your status change, but they mail out an acceptance letter.

So, I'm guessing we should hear back sometime within the next 2 weeks for an invite to interview?
