I'm graduating w/ my BSN this May, but moving to Atlanta in July...only for six months. Then I'm moving to (most likely) California for 3 years, but it may be another state (military wife!!)...how long does it take to get licensed in another state (I plan on taking the boards in Texas this year..I guess I'll just fly back here and take them?)

It varies with the state that you want to get the license from. Also you can take the boards for any state from any state that you are in. All you have to do is apply for the state that you want to take the boards for and go thru the procedure and then at the testing facility you take the test. You would not need to fly back to Texas to take the boards for Texas.
