May 2, 20197 yr Hello everyone I am just starting a thread to see if anyone else plans on applying to Mountain View in the fall for spring 2020. Or anyone who goes there how many points should I strive for to get into the programs. Hope to hear from y’all.
Oct 30, 20196 yr The only thing that throw me off about mvc is the grading system, they have so high standards. I am in between mvc and brookhaven. I am going to decide between the 2 on the 31st. Trying to weigh options.

I guess I can believe it because I took pharm earlier this year and I was like at a 91.6 and it woundn't round up to 92 which was an A. I was mad lol
Oct 31, 20196 yr I went up there earlier to talk to one of the advisors. That’s def the min to pass(75%). I think that goes for most programs in the area.

In my view, a pressed schedule should be taken into account for ease of successful completion.
Oct 31, 20196 yr Btw, I asked about the book situation. The faculty member that I asked said the exact (isbn # specific) books that are on the booklist are required. She didn’t think that you are strictly required to buy from the bookstore. Something about the book package is supposed to give you a nice discount. I also asked about comparing prices; she said we will probably be able to do so. Typically some professors will allow older versions of the book but idk how strict the nursing professors will be.The bookstore doesn’t have the book package nor do they have the booklist yet. The bookstore said that they do not know when the nursing dept will give them the list either, so just call in periodically. I’m guessing that we will be able to get the book list by success camp...hopefully. ? I wanted to get a head start on the fundamentals book reading with the approved book for MVC.

Actually Brookhaven is 16 months which is 4 semesters 16 weeks each semester which is the same in the case of mountain view. MVC is 18 months with summers off. Brookhaven does not have summers off.
