Dianah, that's a long night with no sleep.  

Ado, too bad about the pie.  I would have ate it unless she used her hands. LOL

J22 hope the PT goes well today.

My sister too is one of those that can talk and talk on the phone.  I talked to her almost two hours yesterday about nothing.  

After all my ranting my flowers to my mother and sister arrived yesterday on Mother's Day.  It was supposed to arrived on Saturday though but good enough.

I had trouble falling asleep and thus slept later than I would have liked.  Got up once around 4:30 and decided to feed the dog and go back to sleep, again I thought it was later.  

We got some much needed rain yesterday and this morning, I guess part of rare "atmospheric river" in the south.  

Best friend is watching the news in another room and won't stop offering commentary.  I want to tell him, I have my own sources and don't need his blow by blow of the news and want to finish my coffee in peace.  LOL.  We often discuss current events though.

I'd like to leave early tomorrow for North Carolina but want to be rested.  

Not much going on today.

Al-ohhh there .... or ALOE THERE? Something like that!

Anyway, It is mid-day Monday; SiL came and got Nannie this AM. Then she texted me to take it easy and rest with my arthritis pains today, "if you can." She said my BiL will pick Nannie up around 4:30 PM today and bring her home. GOOD!

I do have to run out and do a brief errand, gather trash, wash dishes (but not quite so many as I have been leaving in the sink previously), and, yessssss, I do have to do MY laundry, but I dunno if I will; I may put it off for another time. Maybe Nannie will sleep tomorrow afternoon and I can do it then, on Nannie-sitting-time, ie while I am sitting to wait for the laundry to run, and am keeping an eye out for her unpredictable behavior, like climbing out of the recliner by sitting on the foot-rest (I just KNOW it will eventually break from repeated "abuse" like that.)

Anyway, I will rest for another 1/2 hr and then get up and get dressed. 

Pains have decreased a good bit, but the longer I am on my feet, they start whispering, so that is why I got back in bed. Don't want to encourage them into a full-blown 'party' with the tambourines and all.

There was a sort of funny anecdote from something last night I was going to tell you, but GUESS WHAT! You are right, my recall of said anecdote is BBBBZZZZTTTTTT! So, maybe laydah.

Tweety, that is nice that the flowers arrived on time after all. dh will go off sometime on news items. We usually agree, but I think he just wants to let off steam at times. 

Joe, I bet it felt good to ride your bike! 

I rode my bike to the PT office today. It's only a couple of miles. I liked the therapist. I asked her if I would really need all the visits (14!) that were booked for me. She didn't think so, which made me feel better. And now that I look at my calendar, I'm going to have to miss the last 3 anyway for an upcoming camping trip. So I have some stretches and exercises to do, and go back on Thursday. 

It's sunny, but cool, and there are a few random rain clouds out. I had a project in mind for today, but forgot what it was. So I will go pull some weeds.
