Tweety I think I would avoid the crowds as well

Hi Stars

NJ22 yes healthcare is very time oriented

Got the laundry done before church.  After church came home for a bit them took the train in town to meet my friend J for lunch at an English pub.  Food was't quiet as good as I remembered but still had a good time.  Came home and exercised and that was about it

Today hopefully will be a relatively quiet day at work, not too much scheduled though I have one brief meeting.  Exercise and probably a CEU after work

Going to be quite warm today, up to 70

Good morning!

Had trouble sleeping in the early morning.  Got up at 5:15 and fed Waffles but couldn't get back to sleep, so got up.  I did nearly 3 hours of our annual stuff and will charge work about 2.5 hours since I took some breaks.  I noticed our DEI section was now titled "Recognizing Each Other's Rights", so as not to offend I guess.  ?

I'll potter about a bit and see if I can take a nap.  Bowling is tonight and don't want to be too tired.

Woke up at 8:30 AM, fed Tinker, and took my AM meds. Went back to sleep and got up at 12;30 PM. It is now 2:45 PM and I am on my way to the bank, and then to the other bank. Need to stop at grocery store for milk and sugar. Then I will come home and clean up the mess I made cooking supper last night. The beef stew was good; I put some in the freezer and the rest in the fridge for tonight's supper. Haven't heard anything from either iL's about my request for 'vacation pay', so I'm not counting on it. BAH! I bet if you took the $ I have 'not earned' (because of Nannie being in a facility), from iL's acct, they would be wanting something to plug the hole in their checking acct.

SS check not due until the 23rd. I guess I will be staying home, and not spending anything if I can help it.

It's been rainy, sunny, blustery and now cloudy. Must be March, LOL. Snow flurries are predicted for tomorrow, but it won't accumulate. I was up and out of the house relatively early for me, to meet sis to get her sleep study results. She doesn't have obvious sleep apnea, but did have a couple of low oxygen episodes, so they are recommending a full, in clinic study. She is hesitant, and I get that. She's had so many tests with few conclusive results, and its quite discouraging. But she booked the study, which won't be until April, and will wait to see what insurance will cover.

dh went to his pcp appointment 4 hours ago, and is still gone, so I'm not sure what he's up to. I need to use this time to write the newsletter. We found out last night that our new program coordinator is leaving, so I guess that needs to go in. We helped dd buy lumber yesterday and then we went out for Mexican food, and I've had heart burn since. I meant to stop for more pepcid, and forgot. Bah, I don't want to go out again.

Stars, perhaps rather than "vacation pay", they could pay you as a house sitter. After all, if the house was sitting empty all this time they would likely need to be checking on it.

86 degrees and sunny. Hubs found a car on Facebook marketplace that he wants us to take a look at. I had thought I'd go to the city council meeting this evening but I guess I'll go look at a car. If this car seems to be worth it, my hope is that it would replace both the Jeep and the Neon. And those 2 would go away forever.

J22, I'm sorry your sister is discouraged by the lack of a helpful results.

I am watching DIE HARD. It has been years since I've seen it, and I like Bruce Willis, but to tell you the truth I am watching it because I love the way Alan Rickman plays a bad-guy SOOOO well! It makes me laugh, every time. I know he isn't supposed to be funny, but to me he is. Go figure. Such mean squinty eyes and such a sneer! You go, Ricky!

As Davey-Do used to say : "ACK-SHOO-AL-LEE" (or something like that)

Now, what I am saying is----

I think Alan Rickman was a much better sleazier bad-guy as the Sheriff of Nottingham, in that Robin Hood movie with Kevin Costner as Robin.

And as John McClain (Bruce Willis) says: "Yippee-Kii-Yay ______-______!"

Good night!
