Tweety that does sound like a frustrating day, hope the next shift is better

Yesterday was a quieter day. Went to church a bit early as I was assisting minister. Our minister is on vacation so we had a fill in, so it was a little more chaotic than usual. After church stopped at the grocery store and did the cooking for the week. Went back to my old neighborhood to a toy store to get some activity books for my niece. The family reunion is in 2 weeks and since she's the only kid there I don't want her to get too bored.

Today should be a pretty ordinary day as far as I know, nothing going on after work except exercise. Nothing out of the ordinary at work either

Will be cooler today, up to about 80, will rain for much of the day

Last night I kept falling asleep while I was reading, so I don't know exactly when I did 'give it up' and put everything aside to turn out the light. I woke up (amazingly not at 3 AM!) I think around 5:30 and then again at 6:30, when I got up to make coffee. I can't start any of my business calls or errands until 9 AM or after, so I am contemplating doing another stretch of dozing before I get up and get going on the day. I may HAVE TO in order to pull my tired brain together to get the nitty-gritty accomplished today; but on the other hand it is now 8:10 AM and I don't want to miss too much of this morning to sleeping longer and take the chance of waking up later than I would like. However I don't really want to set the alarm clock, either. But the longer I am awake, the shorter the time element becomes.

I want to get paper maps in Triptik from from AAA, but I just have to go to the AAA office here in town. I have to find out about moving my SS acct from this address to my future address, as well as transferring bank accts and whatever else is on my list.

I just sent an email to my friend's husband about switching from gmail and Yahoo accts to theirs, which is at Comcast.net, without losing what I have on either gmail or Yahoo. I know there has to be an overlap, ie getting on their computer services BEFORE I cancel the one I am on now, BiL will be cancelling the Spectrum acct at the end of the month so I have to switch before then. I am hoping he is knowledgeable about doing all that because I THINK 'S' works with computers and will be able to help make the change smoothly. I am going to keep my cellphone service provider (not Spectrum) and just transfer it to the office in Florida, so that should be straightforward. I certainly want to be able to use my cell phone during my travel-time!

I prolly already told you I am planning on moving EITHER the Wednesday before the 4th of July or the Wednesday after the 4th. Kind of depends when I can get an 8 x 8 POD delivered here so I can load it up and then arrange for them to pick it up from here to deliver it down there. Details, details! The head spins a little, or slips like I hit a patch of ice; then I regain traction and a bit of tizzy-ness as well. I THINK, HOPE, and PRAY for this to go more smoothly, but I know I also have to anticipate dealing with glitches and/or gaps.

I guess I'd better eat something to fuel my brain and pick up my blood sugar, to meet the day's requirements without mental hiccups.

More later, you can be assured!

"This content must be approved" ... I told you I encounter this more frequently than any of y'all else! All I think about that is "Yah, yah, sure, okay, go ahead."

It's still saying "server not available" when I clock on the site and have to click on another time. Usually I can get here the second time.

J22, hope you get some energy back and feel better.

I have one day off and my overtime shift is tomorrow. I have a load of laundry going and other to go. Will do some cooking and go to the gym. The usual. The Task Rabbit guy to put together another set of shelfs will be 45 minutes late like last time. I'm not too annoyed but want to get on with it.

DIdn't mean "clock in" above, but I'm sure you know what I meant.

Task Rabbit guy is here putting up the shelf. He showed me a scratch on the top shelf just to show he didn't do it and if I wanted to proceed. I'll cover it up but it's annoying but not as annoying as packing it back up and returning it.

2nd load of laundry is in and bathrooms are cleaned. Again, I'm trying not to fall behind because I'm working overtime. I did underestimate food and had to order take out Chinese for dinner last night. As the meme goes "Oh no, I'm devastated".

I just grabbed my pearls!

Oh, dear, not Chinese food 🤣

J22, I hope you start feeling better very soon.

Joe, that's very thoughtful of you to plan something for your niece to do. My aunt (my Dad's only sister, who was 16 years older than my dad) always kept a box of comic books and candy for the kids who came to visit. Kept me occupied while the adults visited and I loved going to her house.

Saturday the city had its annual "lake day" out at the city lake. The hospital and the church both had tables/booths. I was the only person from the hospital to participate so I borrowed a canopy, made a sign, and Twin A went with me. We took chairs, a TV table, and 152 little bottles of bubbles. Those were gone by noon, which was when I needed to go do my shift at the church's tent anyway, so we packed up the hospital's stuff. There were predictions of thunderstorms and rain but it remained warm and breezy and really a nice day for it. There were free hotdogs and sno-cones so I abandoned the low-carb diet again. Saturday evening we went with a group from the church to the baseball game in OKC and had a lot of fun.

Sunday I ended up going to the new laundromat in the next town, which is just across the bridge. It was nice to have that one available because before I had to drive a good 12-13 miles to get to one. Hubs is working on the washer and dryer. The dryer was up and running but the washer required more parts. Then Binx the cat peed on Twin B's pants that he needed to wear to work last night (he left them on the floor of his room), so I decided to just go ahead and take some laundry over to the laundromat and get it over with.

It's rather cool here, in the 50s, and a bit rainy. I have a little more energy today, but sort of a brain fog. I forgot to call and make dh an appointment for a tire rotation. Oops. He brought home fresh strawberries, so I need to make some shortcake.

I should gather up the rug under our dining room table and the one in the living room and take it to the laundromat to wash it in the big washer. But, I have not. I also need to write this month's newsletter. And I have a meeting on Thursday. I just want to stop coughing and sleep.
