Missing two A & P 1 Classes???

Will it be harmful ? Will it cause me to fail? What can I do to stay ahead ?

Has anyone been absent before?

I wouldn't miss two classes if at all possible, that's a lot of material to miss in a class that is extremely fast paced to begin with.

I wouldn't do it, but if you must, see if you can get copies of the lectures you miss from someone in class who records them. At the very least, get copies of one of the better students notes.

Will they be 2 in a row?

Yes :-/

Attached are the classes I'll be missing (Wednesday and Friday) that week. There's also an anatomy lab that wednesday.

It will be the second week of class :(

Missing two classes in a row AND a lab? I hope it's a life and death emergency, anything less than that is not worth missing that much material for, in my opinion.

Nobody thinks I can pass if I keep up with the chapters while I'm away?

Not saying you can't pass if you miss those two days. Just that you will be behind, and one thing about A&P is that it's hard to catch up once you begin to fall behind. Missing a lab is not ideal either. Just read your chapters and try to get notes from someone in class for any material you miss.

Unless its a life or death emergency, there is no way I would miss 2 lectures and a lab. You will be doing yourself an injustice especially for the lab since those are extremely hard to make up. I would reconsider!

:( Okay... I'm going to try my hardest to stay on top of everything. Thank you for your help.

1) Attendance policy

2) Quizzes

3) Missing material

Those are the three problems I see with missing class. Missing material in my opinion isn't too big of a deal as long as you read the chapters your professor covered during that time. Some professors have attendance policies and some do not. The majority of mine have been pretty strict, usually only allowing two absences. My A&P class had weekly quizzes and in class participation stuff almost every class period. My lab allowed no absences. I don't know what happened if you did miss because I never did... Read your syllabus! If you're out for something important (in other words, not a vacation) it doesn't hurt to let your teacher(s) know.
