I found this forum while looking for an answer for what probably is a difficult question. At least I could not find any information so far. So let me at least try my luck in finding anyone who can give some information:
My problem: I am accepted into an assiciate's degree nursing program in Texas that will begin in August. I know this means that if I have to file for a declaratory order, I have two years to file it and for it to be processed. I'm not originally from the US, and I do have what I guess would be the equivalent of a misdemeanor in a country outside the US. Can the FBI ever find about about this? And if I have to file for a declaratory order, do I need to get translations of the court documents? After all, translators are EXPENSIVE!
Thanks for any suggestions.

The answer is virtually always the same. You must check with your school/BON where you intend on being licensed.
ALL CASES are decided on a case by case basis. No one here can give you an official answer.
Thanks, just one more quick question on this: what does BON stand for? Do you mean BNE, Board of Nurse Examiners?

Yes, BON - Board of Nursing, BNE - Board of Nursing Examiners.
Thanks again.
