miscarriage

I recently just went through a miscarriage and found out the baby passed 2 weeks before my body aborted it. I ended up choosing not to do a D&C (mostly because the baby was already out before I could take the info home and think about it overnight and talk it over with my husband). It was easier than I thought it was going to be. I ended up with some other Dr. that lacked in empathy and didn't know her head from her...... I hardly had any cramping and there was hardly any blood (at least not the labor cramps and "large amount" that I was told). Has anyone decided to not do the D&C and have the miscarriage on their own? If so, how long do the cramps and bleeding typically last?

I also had a missed miscarriage at one point that required a D&C.

If you didn't have any bleeding that was at least as heavy as a period, I would have to say as a guess that you have not passed the fetus yet. I don't know how long it has been for you, but I recommend that you return to your doctor. Go in for medical attention immediately if you develop a fever.

What is a Missed Miscarriage?

And with that, I am going to have to flag this because I think you are asking for medical advice.
