*Microbiology Spring 2012*

Hello nevergiveup. Im taking professor **** on Mon /Wed hes a good professor as well. I enjoyed his lectures and lab so far. So that's defiantly a plus. Im glad to know there is someone on here that goes to Edison that is taking up Micro at the same time .

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone will be taking Microbiology in the spring..if so I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread for the new yr for this particular class. I figured that we can all be able to post questions and answers here regarding the class or just to talk about anything regarding micro.

I will be starting my Micro class on tuesday im going to edison state college in fort myers fl. Im very excited and also a little nervous to be starting school after a semester break.

Hi! I just started on the 9th, and I am taking Micro and A&P II, genetics, and 2 nursing classes, and I am nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but I am trying to be positive and try my best...

Had to drop micro last semester due to my son being hospitalized and the professor not willing to allow me to do the make up work. Taking it again this semester online through EduKan - lecture/lab combo - 5 credit class. It is a Spring II class, so I don't start for a few more weeks.

Micro, Chem, and a nursing course this semester. Heard micro was Tough from some and not so bad from others, guess we'll see. Yikes, it's going to be a study, study, and study some more semester!!! So glad this thread was started :yelclap:

* Has Everyone started there Micro Class as yet?

Started mine today and have lab on Wednesdays. Yikes!! I am more nervous now! The Prof put all the notes and powerpoints on blackboard already for both lecture and lab. I just looks SO overwhelming. *takes a deep breath* All will be good.

Oh, I started mine. Actually, my teacher for Micro seems nice and helpful luckily. But it's a lot of work and then with the other classes... Wowza!

I hope I'm not the only one feeling incredibly overwhelmed already!

Our first exam I believe is in two weeks and will be on the first SIX chapters. How in the world am I going to remember all of that?

Any tips? Right now I feel like Im just going to take notes and memorize everything...seems so impractical but I have no idea how else to prepare for this exam.

I started jan 9. It is overwhelming lindsayk728 . My lecture professor gives us the outline of her slides, so I use that to make notes, read in advance so when I go to class it's my second time seeing the material. We also have access to an interactive online testing bank which helps in memorizes key concepts. Check your textbook to see if there are any online resources you could use.
