Mentor

Hi, I am new to Hospice and though I had a wonderful preceptor and orientation I would love an online mentor. Someone that has a lot of experience with Hopice and could share their wisdom. There is so much to learn and I would love to have an online resource person to direct my questions to. It would be invaluable. Thank you!

It's amazing how much independence we have. I love it but I have a lot to learn about making independent decisions on my own. I'm so used to having my collegues and MD's there

Browse around the threads. There are some wise hospice professionals that will try to answer your questions.

I'm sure you carry a cell phone. You can always call your fellow case managers, clinical manager, medical director, hospice pharmacy etc. for clinical support when you are unsure and alone out in the field.
