In Nursing term what does OR, ER, Oncology, OP and others mean.

OR= Operating Room
ER= Emergency Room
OP= original poster (on allnurses)

CNA = certified nursing assistant
CMA = certified medical assistant
LVN/LPN = licensed vocational nurse/ licensed practical nurse -- depends on the region you live in
I'm surprised that you don't know what OR and ER mean.....those are pretty basic, even the general public knows those.
