Does anyone know when registration for clinical sites will open up?

I believe registration happens at orientation but im not sure if that is also for clinical sites. I heard that we can only pick day and time for clinicals but not sites. but still, not 100% sure.

Oh gotcha! I think they told me that you’ll be able to request your clinical site! First come first serve. I really hope so because I drive a moped and I want to request the closest one to me.. I hate that there isn’t someone I can talk to about that. I’ve tried to email and they just tell me wait for when registration opens up. But if there isn’t a location option then I’m out of luck.

Is anyone having issues with their background check? I did mines at the beginning of October,I received the results clear and it still says noncompliant.. am I missing something? Do I have to collect it at school? I emailed Lina the Complio liaison but still haven't heard back from her about this. ?

Yes you’ll have to go pick the report up from school and upload it to Complio. They’re supposed to reach out to you when it’s ready for pickup, but as I’ve said a lot before, their communication is very, very, very poor. So you’ll probably have to continue reaching out or make a phone call. But once you upload it to complio you’ll be good to go.

yes I have to go pick it up this week, I received an email about it.

ugh im stillll waiting to find out if I made it into full time...im hoping I can find out this week. anyone else still waiting?

Hey guys. So I work at Mount Sinai Medical Center and I just ran into a current MDC student who is doing her OB clinicals. I noticed she was wearing green pants which threw me off a bit because you until now I thought all we had to purchase was ONLY white scrubs. She said since day one of nursing school at MDC she was told to wear GREEN scrubs to school and a WHITE top with GREEN bottoms to clinicals. I’m a little confused now. Can anyone confirm this? I already bought a white top and BLUE ANGELS is sewing on the MDC logo onto my white top. I want to know if I should get a green shirt as well. Because it can take 2-3 weeks for them to embroider a uniform with the MDC logo. Does anyone know exactly what the uniform colors are for class and clinicals?

Yes, for class your scrub top has to be green, for clinical it’s white.
