MDC Fall 2011 =)

There are scholarships available on the website that had the acceptance steps. However, from all of the advisers and people in the nursing department that I have spoken to, there are not any scholars/"we pay for your school in exchange for your pledge to work for us" programs available until after we've completed the first semester. I think they are going to speak about this during orientation, which would be helpful :)

I am also registered for that class. It would be nice to know someone there!:)

It'll make the class much better knowing someone else. :) Are you starting generic full-time in August?

Well, here goes...

I went today to the Medical Campus, and declined my spot in the Fulltime Generic Program for this fall.

Due to a family situation, I won't be able to attend nursing school (which is what you HAVE to dedicate) until this coming spring. So, I'll be reapplying for the Spring 2012 semester, and God willing, I will be accepted again and be able to start at that time.

So as much as it KILLED me to decline my spot, I am happy that one more person will be able to participate in the program this fall. I honestly hope it's one of you!!!

I also am very happy to that so many here have gotten in, and that the rest of us will have some eyes and ears going into the program!

I guess it's up to me to get the "MDC Spring 2012" thread going, right?

ok thanks! so im going to use them. Did u get your results by email and they mailed u an envelope too? Will mdc accept the results from this company? Just checkin since if not i'll just go to my DR but i cant get an appt w her till december so i dont know how or where to do this, ? this just seems easier.. let me know if it was easy. :) thanks!!

So do we have to wait for orientation to register for classes? I got some email that told me to register june 24th... then i went to medical campus and they told me that they would tell us how to register on july 18th at orientation...

ZeppHead8 I'll be applying to the Spring 12 program as well. It will be nice to have a thread for the ones applying then. :)

Shamanai: I know someone who got in with a 78.8 Teas score, so the Teas cut off couldn't have been 80. Maybe that was the score of the teas & gpa together, but who knows?

Ha! With MDC you NEVER know lol!!! But Either way I hope everyone here gets a seat!!! I just did our orientation and man A LOT of info!! But for those haven't gotten a seat... Keep the faith! There is more than one way to skin a cat! Ecplore all options. And you will get to the end! Hopefully more spots open and more of you all can enter the program! Happy Summer :-)

Hi everyone, first of all congrats to all that have been accepted to the nursing program. Unfortunately for me I have still not received anything yet and Im still waiting. I have a gpa of 4.0 and a teas score of 72 and it averages out to an 83.2. I just wanted to know what you guys think where I would fall on the list for the second round picks coming up and hopefully I get accepted!!

I took the test by paying econoLabs and then went to Labcorp, but I haven't heard back from them yet. I am out of town this week but will contact them next week to find out when I get the results. I'll post back when I find out what's up.
