MDC Fall 2011 =)

Hi guys! Who else is applying for MDC Fall 2011?

I am also applying for FIU-- I was accepted last year to MDC but for financial and personal reasons could not attend. :'( Who else will be applying to Generic FT? Please state what program you will be applying to!

I will be taking the TEAS sometime in March, in which I will also be taking the HESI A2 for FIU. So I might as well be studying for both, lol. Anybody taken the TEAS at MDC? Share your experiences here! :) I will be using a general book for nursing school entrance exams... it's by Barron... and I will be studying my math from a nursing calculation book, and my sciences from my anatomy, biology, and other notes. Is it true there is geology on the exam? How irrelevant... lol

    If we register for classes before orientation, does anyone know if this is still the correct list for first semester, generic, full-time? It's the only info I could find on the MDC site but it's dated July 7, 2005:

    I paid my deposit today and then went to the nursing dept to ask when we can register. They said they don't know when our schedules will be completed but they will actually be doing them for us so we won't be picking our classes. However, we will be able to choose the sites we do our clinicals and that should be emailed to us by next Tuesday. :)

    I am kind of concerned about them "setting up our schedules." What happens if you don't want that schedule? Can you get another one? I guess they will tell us everything in orientation.

    I know what you mean. It worries me too. I'm sure they will let us switch with someone if our classes conflict with our personal schedules. At least we have each other on here to ask if we need to do some rearranging. ;)

    Does anyone know how many students are admitted to each program? If it's not that many, there may only be one schedule. I have a degree from FIU, and the program was so small there was only one set of classes offered per semester.

    They start in the fall. Our fundamentals clinical should be sometime in September and it will be in a nursing home.
