MDC Fall 2011 =)

Hi guys! Who else is applying for MDC Fall 2011?

I am also applying for FIU-- I was accepted last year to MDC but for financial and personal reasons could not attend. :'( Who else will be applying to Generic FT? Please state what program you will be applying to!

I will be taking the TEAS sometime in March, in which I will also be taking the HESI A2 for FIU. So I might as well be studying for both, lol. Anybody taken the TEAS at MDC? Share your experiences here! :) I will be using a general book for nursing school entrance exams... it's by Barron... and I will be studying my math from a nursing calculation book, and my sciences from my anatomy, biology, and other notes. Is it true there is geology on the exam? How irrelevant... lol

    I know! I am taking Micro lab, Stats and Sociology over the summer...so I think that will keep me busy haha! =) I am just about done with all my classes this semester and everything is turning out perfect! and then these are my last three prerequisites for the BSN program! I want to go straight through if I can...if i get in...if...if...if....

    Maria, did you take your humanities and behavioral/social sciences courses already for the BSN?

    I believe I will have one humanities course I would have to finish up before I could be awarded the BSN but I would not need it to start the program...but yes after this summer I will have all the prerequisites done that I need to be able to start the bsn nursing courses unless they change things while I am getting my ASN =(...I don't mind having to take a class once I finish up all my bsn nursing classes but I want to have everything done so I can apply for the RN-BSN program once I pass the NCLEX...oh well we will see, but as of now I will have all the prereqs done after this summer =)

    Ahh that is my plan... i think i should have everything done this semester... well you could always take that class online right after you graduate :) but anyway i think we will be so busy looking for jobs and stuff that we won't even want to think about school again! do you want to go to the rn-bsn at mdc, marah? i am going to apply there but i would really like FIU because of the proximity... also i think its mostly online. do you know if at mdc its online or on-campus?

    I am not sure if they offer it online...but the program is pretty new I think so it is probably still developing

I just went to the ATI website to register to do the TEAS and everything is pretty much sold out, I am going to Brazil on the 22nd which is Friday, and I thought on doing the test on Monday or Tuesday but for my surprise everything is sold out. I already bought the ticket, so I have no other way. So I guess my only option is to sit and wait until next year!!!!! Well things happen for a reason, which reason I still don’t know!!!! L

    I am actually happy now, I was able to get a spot for the 20th, so it will be enough for me to do the test and do the application if I pass. I have been praying a lot for this, and God answered my prayer just in time!!!

    Thanks to God I was able to get a spot to do the test on the 20th, So now I can just pray and pass. I feel very relief now ;-)
