Master in Nursing, Need Help.

Published

First off this is my first time on this site so I apologize if this gets posted in the wrong section.

I am currently a senior in undergrad studying exercise science. I have been thinking heavily on pursuing a career a nursing the only problem is that its a little late to go back and complete an undergrad degree in nursing. My question is, is it possible to pursue a masters degree in nursing after obtaining my bachelors in exercise science? I have looked around the site a bit and have seen people discussing the topic but the acronyms for different programs are confusing me and Im not sure what kind of program I would have to look for. Any help is appreciated and anything that can point me in the right direction is awesome. Thanks in advance.

Edit: If it helps Ive completed all anatomy courses, and other pre reqs such as physics, stats, ect.

The entry-level master of science degree in nursing (ELMSN) program is an option for those who have already earned non-nursing baccalaureate degrees. This type of nursing program is also called the direct entry master of science in nursing (DEMSN).

What is the best way to compare multiple entry level msn programs for non nurses?

Unless you are willing to relocate for the purpose of attending school, I don't think a comparison of ELMSN programs is feasible or realistic. After all, there's probably only one school in your area that offers the program if you're like most people.

If only one college in your region is offering the ELMSN program, there's no comparison: that's the school you'll be aiming to attend.

Ahh.. okay. What would be the best way to find programs in my area that offer these ELMSN programs.
