Massasoit Fall 2017

Hi,

I didn't find a topic on this yet so I figured I'd start one! I recently submitted my application for Massasoit for Fall 2017. Anyone else?? The wait is going to drive me nuts!

Ive been a dental assistant for a few years and am deciding to make a change. I have all of my pre-reqs from before I even went into the dental field, which got me an Associates degree in health science. I have a good GPA and A's and B's in most pre-reqs, but am a little worried because I feel like I don't have the most competitive grades compared to others! Also got an 82 on the TEAS.

Hey LeleEke,

Congrats on you and everyone else who got in!!! I just finished my last freshman final, now onto my senior year. Your first semester is going to be fundamentals. You will have lectures Monday and Wednesdays 10-12. Depending on who you have for clinicals you will have Tue/Thur, Tue/Fri, or Thur/Fri. Those days are from 8-2. There will be weeks where you won't have clinical but will have long lecture days. Let me know if you guys have any other questions.

Oh thank you so much, I'm trying to see if I can somehow keep work in rotation! I don't know now though.

I'm going to be honest with you, school is intense. You need to make a lot of time to study so you can grasp the materials. In fundamentals they are going to front load you. If you are going to work, I wouldn't recommend full time.

Hey kb7382, have you heard anything?

Thank you that makes me feel a little better I hope we find out soon! hopefully we both make it in! Fingers crossed!

I was going to ask you the same thing! I emailed admissions yesterday they told me JUNE....... í ½í¸µ

For the love! I wonder what's taking them so long. Maybe a revamp of things?

I'm not sure... keep me posted when you hear something and I'll do the same!

Looks like we should be getting letters soon. I got an email last night from Massasoit about logging in/re-logging into their portal. When I did some exploring on the site, it had my major listed as nursing-part time! Good luck to all!

Thank you for posting just checked degree works I'm in!!!!! Nursing Evenings! Congrats to you also!

Check degree works! I'm in. They updated it

I'm still listed as a liberal arts transfer :( I did try to add the evening nursing class just to see if it worked and it let me so I'm not sure what to think. It wouldn't let me add the day nursing course or any other special entry course (like vet, emt etc) so I'm still hopeful!

Letters are going out next week but you can find out early by logging in. We (evening generic RN) just took our last final yesterday, pinning is Tuesday, so all the attention will be on you!!

Good luck to everyone, if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. I will also be giving away a bunch of books too

hahahahahahahahahaha!!!! - ya, no!

For the love! I wonder what's taking them so long. Maybe a revamp of things?
