how many classes at a time allowed

I was told at my intake interview that we can only take 1 class at a time...how in the heck is everyone getting so many credits done in 1 term if we can only take 1 class. I wanted to take 2-3 classes at the same time like I did in college.

I always had more than one class open at a time. That is something you and your mentor determine after seeing how you do the first few week.

I did ask f I requested to take more at a time would it be allowed and was told no BUT he did say that all of the course were open to me so I could see what all the stuff needed to be done and work on it until I could take the class itself. Made no sense to me because things could change from one prof. to the other....ugh

You are given all the classes you need to take during the semester all at once, and you can work on one at a time, or all of them at once. It's totally up to you. I'm a very linear person so didn't touch the next class until I was totally finished with the previous, but I know other people who are working on tasks from 2 or 3 different classes at a time.

but are you allowed to submit the work in more than 1 at a time. The way it was explained to me is that all are open to see but you could not submit any work until you are in the class itself but may work on stuff to hand in later...I am a bit confused lol

Unless they've changed the rules, I see no reason why you couldn't. I did that for a couple classes. As long as the class is loaded in Taskstream, you can submit tasks for it.

I just graduated (again) and I had up to three classes open at once. I worked on whatever I felt like. Sometimes the enrollment counselors don't know as much as they should..

I am a current student and have all of my classes for the term open now. I have completed 3 but could have worked on all 4 of them since I started (May 1) all at the same time, and submitted whatever I wanted for those 4 classes. As soon as I finish this last one (by the end of the week), I will have my mentor unlock the next two and move them into this term. I prefer to do one at a time but others get bored and like to go back and forth.
