Males Nurses in %

Does anyone have the latest figure of how much of a percentage the males represent in the Nursing world?

18% of registered nursing students and 10% of registered nurses in California are male.

I'm certain of the first two figures, and I believe she said the latest numbers nationwide are 7.4% of nurses are men, up from the 6.8% that's been getting quoted forever.

Cannot recall the source, but an article I read earlier this year put the number at around 8%
