I'm still in the process! I passed N-CLEX August 2006. It took about 6 weeks to get my ATT (once my stupid Uni had got their act together & sent my transcripts) & 7 weeks to get my VisaScreen.

As for the rest - who knows?? I'm going for premium processing of my I-140 ($1000) because although there are no visas thanks to retrogression I know this can be the longest part of the process & I just want it safely & quickly out of the way. For peace of mind, if nothing else I think it's worth it.

There's a thread on here somewhere about time lines to the USA - it will give you an idea - although none of them had premium processing available & now that we have that option there's retrogression!! Theoretically it should be a lot quicker once retrogression is lifted because the longest part of the process seems to be that I-140!

You will need to check out if you will have done enough hours in paeds, maternity & psyche by the end of your course as some nurses on the new degree course have found they have hours to make up for the USA. Although not everyone has had problems, again there's threads about that here too.

Thanks for your advice, I ahve got my extra hours in naternity, community, medical and surgical, about to do health visiting for my child hours and psych should be a breeze cos everyone in Liverpool are nuts!!!!!!!!:uhoh3:

Thanks again
