:uhoh21:I finally went for my interview at the tech school where I applied. It was the most scared I can ever remember being about anything! Well maybe besides childbirth, but it ranked right up there. There were about 8 people asking me all the questions and I hope the answers I gave were intelligent, they were certainly honest! I was to scared to think up anything. Anyway now I have to wait 2 weeks for the letter. Send some positive thoughts and prayers my way, I really need this!

I just made it through my interview today. I had been calm and collected until I sat down in front of the Director of Nursing! I'm sure you did great! Now all I can think about is what I COULD have said:chuckle Oh well...I guess I'll now within the next two weeks. Good Luck! I'll be thinking of you!
Thanks! I will send positive thoughts your way! Hopefully sometime in the next two weeks we can congratulate each other on getting in!

I am so glad my school doesn't do interviews! I would probably go blank.

CONGRATS!
If you dont mind me asking - what kinds of questions do they ask?
I HATE interviews of any kind. The more people asking me questions, the more nervous I get - then I end up going blank and saying something stupid. lol :imbar
I'm so excited for you! We got ours right at the same time! My classes don't start until October 1. What about yourself?

Most nursing schools all do somewhat different questions. The questions I can remember were:
-Why do you want to be a nurse and why did you choose this school? (of course!)
-When was the last time you had to place someone elses needs before your own and what was the outcome?
-How did you prepare for nursing school?
-What strategy did you use with a boss you didn't like?
That's all I can think of right now. Hope this helps you! I'm sure you'll do fine, it goes by quickly!
