I have my LSU interview soon! *nervous* I searched around this helpful site and got a lot of good information. Just wondered if anyone has interviewed there and can remember they style of questions and kind of questions that were asked.

Thanks and Good Luck to us all!!

I am trying to be more cognizant of how I care my patients at my work (CVICU) and why, like choice of meds I use, etc. I'm also re-reading my CCRN book. Other than that, I need to relax myself so that I can clearly present who I am and what I do in preparation of CRNA program within a limited time, say in 10min. Read other posts here that LSU interview is laid back and they may offer you a spot at the interview. Is LSU your primary? Good luck, you'll do well.

Be familiar with your own ICU practice and how you care your patients. Mine was brief, and right off the butt, I was asked about swan how it is placed (placement path) and what is measured/how you fix its abnormal value ( by what inotrope gtt, etc.) followed by casual questions about yourself. They will tell you if they have any question or concern might affect your competiveness. Good luck.
