Did you guys add a personal statement? I can't find the requirements for one.

I also applied, just waiting for the deadline to approach! I submitted a personal statement/goals essay, pretty general.

I'm working on applying as well! I had the same question about the personal statement/writing sample we have the option to submit. Did y'all just submit a generic this is why I wanna be a CRNA and why you are a strong applicant?
Second question, on the practice survey form, the instructions say how "frequently do you PERSONALLY PERFORM the following skills" and some of the items listed include central line and a-line insertion as well as vent changes. They don't literally mean how often do we as nurses place a line do they? I am assuming they mean how frequently do we assist in those bedside procedures..... right???
When do they call for interviews?
I assumed assisting too because I've never performed any of those procedures.
I submitted my application today! It's an exciting feeling.

I interviewed last year (waitlisted and never received any other feedback) and in my experience LSU offers interviews after the application deadline of August 1st. Good luck to all!!

I submitted almost a month ago, and after e-mailing the admissions assistant, she said that some people just add a generalized essay to assist with their application.
I saw your posts on last year's thread. How stressful! I hope you are a shoe-in this year! God's timing it perfect
