LSU BSN Fall 2015

Published

Anyone applying to LSUHSC's BSN program for the Fall? I haven't seen a thread started (unless I missed it). Getting a late start since I'm still trying to write my essay, grr. Good luck to everyone applying! :)

I just turned mine in today! Any luck with the paper writing?

Phew! I eventually finished it. It's not so easy writing something so personal. I think I'd choose a research paper over that! :)

I spent a good three weeks on it. I have to agree that a research paper is a lot less stressful. May the application process be forever in your favor! :D

Hi,

I sent in my application and I also started a thread - oops! https://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/lsu-bsn-fall-966646.html

Do you know of anyone else who applied this semester?

Are any of y'all at LSU this semester?

This will be my second time applying! hopefully I get good news this time!

@Heather I think all who posted are only prospective right now. We'd certainly love to be students, tho! And does the admittance committee, or whatever, really not count the A & P portion of the HESI? I got that vibe from other threads, but I didn't see anyone say that directly.

I also applied! And I heard since A&P aren't prereqs and we take those classes once we get into school that they do not weigh it heavily or use it against us..

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone that has applied for BSN at LSU knows how long it takes to hear back to get an interview? Just kind of freaking out about all of this.

Good Evening Kheng!

Check this other thread out: https://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/lsu-bsn-fall-966646.html

I think it will help settle your nerves :) Remember, everyone who has minimum qualifications gets an interview and no one has yet been scheduled for one. So your nerves can rest easy!

Thanks Marshall,

I don't think until I get that piece of paper that says I got in, my nerves will stop, but I am preparing as best I can, and that's all anyone can do.
