So I just finished the required reading for the LifeSpan 2 Exam and it seems like the material is just all over the place. Just looking for some feed back regarding the feel of this exam. It seems like a huge psych test with a lot of med/surg thrown in the mix. I don't know if I'm losing my focus these days or if this exam is more challenging than the rest. I saw where people from past years said it was a beast. Has anyone taken this exam recently, like this year! lol Thanks:nurse:

Hi there, I didn't find Lifespan 2 to be that difficult even though the content is all over the place. I found Lifespan 3 to be the hardest, nothing related to my studying or the practice exams, but I managed to pass both. Good luck! If you have been passing the other exams, you should do well.
I just took both this month!

I'm studying for LS2 & LS3 now. I have taken all EC practice exams for previous exams; however, I felt like the practice exam for LS1 didn't "help" like previous practice exams. Did you guys find the practice exams beneficial for LS2 & LS3?

I'm studying for LS2 right now as well. I'm hoping to get this one done in about a month. Not too worried about the psych parts as it's one of my favorite topics and I already took an RN psych class and clinical at a brick and mortar school. The rest I'm relying on SG101 and my Saunders for.
Please let me know if anyone finds any good lectures or videos on the med-surg topics.
I've read in older threads that the practice exam helps, at least one person said that they found the real test easier than the practice test. Not sure if that's true, but I sure hope it is.

Hello- I used the Saunders and SG101 for the lifespan series, but mostly saunders. But that is just me. Good luck!
Thanks a bunch virgomoon. I'm getting all frazzled (is that a word, lol) because the content seems like it's going in too many directions. Happy ur done with this! Thanks for the advice. Gonna have to slow it down on this one. :)
Thanks infinity85. I've been looking intently at ev-er-y-thing. I will be so glad when I'm done. Thanks for the input.

Hello veggieLPN,
The psych part has so many terms from the EC standpoint to me. Some from the practice exam 1 I had not seen yet. If you have already covered that content then it looks like you are on your way! Hope you do well. Keep in touch. :)
Your gonna take them around the same time? Wow! To me, LS1 practice exams "somewhat" guided me in the direction. But the cardiology content....I was on my own! So far these practice exams have been ok I guess. Thats what Im nervous about. I'm not sure how it will relate to this actual exam. I want to take it on the 16th. If u take yours before then, let me know how u do. :)
I'm still studying for LS2; I haven't taken it just yet. I did decide to take LS3 as a course. Thus far, I enjoy the course. I decided not to rush myself and make the best grade possible. I'm hoping to start FCCA'S this October. I realized that I'd have to wait anyway for the CPNE, so I might as well take my time studying. I'll keep you posted.
That sounds like a great plan.
