hi there,
my name is jessica and i am looking for lpn programs in maryland. i was on the board of nursing website and they list all the colleges that offer the program, but in order to get accepted i would have to take pre reqs, i was wondering if anyone knew of any other places that would offer the lpn program without have to take pre reqs.
i am also wondering or looking for others opinions. currently i work at home for a medical review or precertification company, i was thinking about getting my cna to get a job or a better chance of getting a job in a hospital then going for my lpn. so i'm wanting some opinions on if i should just go for my lpn or do cna then go to lpn?! help!!!!! i would still need to work full time in order to pay bills!!!
thanks very much for your assistance!!!!

Hello,
I'm in a LPN program in maryland, however I go to a CC that requires prereqs. I don't know of a school but I do know that there is a program in washington DC that doesn't require any prereqs. As for me I did get my CNA two years before starting the LPN program. It have been great because I do have option to work as a CNA while in nursing school and I did do that for a while. Hope this helps and good luck.

I am currently in an LPN program in Washington D.C. that does not require any prereqs. It is a 12 month program and very rigorous. I found out about the program after contacting the D.C. Board of Nursing. There are a few in the D.C. area, but the one I attend is consistently number one in pass rate for the boards. If you decide that you would like more information I'll be happy to help.

Hello, how are you? I am also looking for an excellent and accredited LPN program in the dc or Maryland area, but it seems like there is no private LPN program in Maryland. Please can you tell me the name of the LPN program in DC that you went to?
Thank you so much!
Hello, I am looking for a very good LPN program to enroll in DC. I know that Maryland does not have any private LPN programs; only community colleges in Maryland offers LPN, but they also require you to take a lot of prerequisites so I prefer to go through the shorter route. Please anyone who knows of a very good and accredited school that offers LPN program in DC, please let me know. Any advice or suggestions are welcome. Thank you so much.
