lpn program dilemma

Published

I was wondering if anyone has completed recently or is currently enrolled in the LPN program at Brown Mackie in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have gone to a couple meetings with the Assistant Director of Admissions and am really interested. My only issue is that I work full-time right now and am not financially able to work part tiem. I was wondering if there are loans you can get to cover cost of bills while you are in school. I am also wondering if the cost of Brown Mackie is worth it. I do plan on going for my RN after I work as an lpn for a year or two, and am not sure if paying so much for my lpn and then more for my rn will be worth it. I know there is a lot in this post but if anyone has comments on anything I've mentioned, please let me know!!

This is only a friendly suggestion, but you might want to post this very same question in the Ohio Nurses forum in order to garner more responses. Good luck!

Post moved to the Ohio State Forum......wish ya luck!

How much is the cost for that program? Also, yes to the student loans. You can get those to not only cover the cost of school, but to cover your living expenses as well.
