  1. Thanks! I will def look into that. How are you liking it? How long is the program?
  2. Does anyone know of any lpn-rn bridge programs in Cincinnati besides CSTCC? Has anyone ever done the one at Cincinnati State? I am in the LPN program at Brown Mackie right now and am trying to research bridge programs that I can do once I get certified and work for a year or so. Thanks!!
  3. I was wondering if anyone has completed recently or is currently enrolled in the LPN program at Brown Mackie in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have gone to a couple meetings with the Assistant Director of Admissions and am really interested. My only issue is that I work full-time right now and am not financially able to work part tiem. I was wondering if there are loans you can get to cover cost of bills while you are in school. I am also wondering if the cost of Brown Mackie is worth it. I do plan on going for my RN after I work as an lpn for a year or two, and am not sure if paying so much for my lpn and then more for my rn will be worth it. I know there is a lot in this post but if anyone has comments on anything I've mentioned, please let me know!!
  4. I was thinking about taking the LPN program at Great Oaks in Cincinnati. I work full-time now and would be taking part-time classes 4 nights a week. I was wanting some feedback on how good the program is and the intensity of it. I'm a little worried about putting too much on myself with working full time and having class 4 nights a week....

I am trying to get back into school and really want to be an RN. However, I know that the wait list is ridiculously long everywhere around here. I was thinking I could get my LPN license and then start right into the LPN-RN program somewhere. I like my job now and don't know if I would even work as an LPN (just get licensed) before I went for my RN. Does this sound reasonable? Is it possible to do that?
