It really depends on what school you're attending. My orientation lasted for about 2.5 hrs. Basically an intro to the school, what they expect, rules and regulations, school ID pictures, lists of books to buy along with uniforms. Oh yea they also gave us a summer reading assignment( a few chapters and quiz) that will count towards our grade. Just ask as many questions as u can especially if u don't understand something. Good luck to you:)!
Dang, 9 to 5!? That's long. Mine is from 5 pm to 7 pm in early August. I can let you know what we discussed during our orientation, but like someone else said, it'll probably vary depending on which school you're in. Also, I hope hope I don't get a summer assignment like you did, medieval!

:) if u don't be sure to at least do some related reading. Always good to be ahead of the game?
Our's (Warren campus) is tomorrow so I'll fill you in, but they did send us an agenda via email. Meet & greet, going over the handbook, lunch, bookstore time, scrubs, Q & A, etc..
Yay please do I am so excited to see what's going on...and we going through the same program just different campuses
Our orientation was Friday and it was from 8:30-1:30ish. We went over the usual stuff (handbook, schedules, labs, uniforms for lab/clinicals, etc...). There were some LPN grad students there that are now BSN students. So they talked to us and answered questions so that was cool. We complete our drug screen and background checks in our third week of class. Some of us signed up for the SNA at our campus and bought lab coats, patches, etc... from the pop up bookstore.
And you haven't don't your drug test and back ground check I did that already in my HLTH101S this semester we did that in our 3 week also I forget some people are gonna take it when we start...and I'm ahead I am only take fundamentals and the clinical and pharmacology 1 I have all my other p requisite done for the program
