LPN to BSN

Can someone give a list of LPN to BSN programs that are online?? I'm one of 13 people who need an online program and so far the only one I see is ISU and excelsior. Not a fan of Excelsior though.

Excelsior does not offer LPN to BSN only LPN to ASN.

I think the only online LPN to BSN is ISU. (As of about 9 months ago when I checked at least)

There are not many LPN to BSN programs period. Many states consider PN programs technical not collegiate so college credit is not given towards a BSN unless college level classes were taken during the program. Many vocational-technical programs are only given credit at the community college/associates level if there is an inter school agreement.

Most online nursing programs are RN to BSN or hybrid programs intended for local students (online classes with local clinical, lab and sometimes proctored exams)

Thank you. I am looking into ISU. Just nervous about those 4 exams you have to take. I think I may have to go through the college network after all. I have to buy the study guides anyway. I have a lot of schooling done and my TEAS test completed as well. I took it before I did the current LPN program I am in currently. So I hope they take a lot of credits from Ivy tech. :)

You could always apply to ISU first & see what they say before contacting the college network. Kind of hold off on the extra expense as long as you can...

What is the ISU school you are speaking about? Indiana State?
