Lost a student

A sweet athletic boy with straight As, a beautiful girlfriend, and a multitude of friends apparently took his own life. The official word is not in and it was announced that he passed away, but the details sound like suicide. It has been a long, somber day. Grief counselors have been here helping those kids whose parents did not pick them up after this devastating news.

Please go home and hug your children.

    I am doing well, farawyn, thanks for asking. The kids are still subdued, but seem to be doing better with routine being followed. The funeral is tomorrow, so please continue with prayers for his family and friends.

    Thank you all for your sweet comments. I still have a hard time believing this poor child was killed in the yard on his way to school. We live in a small town, around 5,000. It's disturbing. The rumors are terrible. I pray his friends find peace because several of them believe they know, and go to school, with the person or people responsible.
