Looking for post masters PMHNP program ASAP

I would love your help finding a post masters certificate or very short DNP Program (I’m 56 yrs old). I’ve been teaching at college & university level for 8 years and want Psych NP to be my retirement job. I already have preceptor and access to variety of sites so I want to start cranking out the classes. If it helps I have a great gpa but never taken GRE and would rather not (again, time constraint). Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

I forgot to mention that I have also continued to work PRN while teaching.

Wilkes university has an online post grad PMHNP program. I am in this program now. You can continue on to DNP. Fairfield University has DNP Psych but I do not believe it is online. Half the battle is finding a Preceptor so if you have one you are very lucky!!

have you found any programs promising? any updates? I'm thinking of getting a pmhnp certificate as well

I am in Wilkes. I am in post grad program. Program seems fine but I’ve only taken Psychopharmacology. I am having problems finding a preceptor though which I need by Sept.

thank you for the update. good luck on finding a preceptor and I wish you all the best.

Did you ever find a program?

My story is similar to yours....
