Start taking ownership of your experiences?
Here's an example:
I failed history. I'm going to schedule an appointment with the instructor, listen to what they say about why my work was unsatisfactory, and use that info to get a better understanding of what I need to do next time in order to earn the grade I want.

I'm sorry. I have tried to resist, but I have to say it. What you are going to do, if you want to succeed, is first take responsibility for your grade. You EARNED an F. I have always hated to hear the phrase "the teacher gave..".
You are an adult, and should be able to keep up with your grades well enough to a least have an idea that your are in danger of failing. I do agree, meet with the instructor to find out why your work was so poor.

well you'll take the course again and pass it... go find out what you did poorly on and fix it... it's not the teacher who gave you the F , you gave yourself the F .... and now it's time to fix the problem and get a A ...

Was this really a total surprise to you? Did you not have a midterm and other tests throughout the semester? I agree with other posters, you need to step back and take a hard look at a few things.

Where did you see r/t nursing? What am I missing?
Just take the class over, maybe with a different instructor, AFTER meeting with the current one to see what the problem was. Good luck sweetie.

No one said you are in idiot. What they were saying is to review how the grades you earned were not satisfactory, and the best way to do that is to speak to the instructor so that you will learn from your experience.
